The upcoming release of ThinLinc is almost done and will include more than 60 enhancements and fixes. The most prominent changes are: - The native client now supports full-screen mode over arbitrary set of monitors. This can be useful for users that mainly work in ThinLinc, but has some local applications they still need. They can now have ThinLinc on two monitors, and let a third monitor continue showing the local system. - Future versions of the ThinLinc client will not support SSH servers that are using the older “ssh-rsa” method for host keys or public key authentication. For most that means OpenSSH 7.2 or later is required on ThinLinc server systems. - Support for some older platforms has been removed. The ThinLinc client is no longer available for eLux RP 5. The ThinLinc server now only supports 64-bit x86 systems. ThinLinc Web Access no longer supports Internet Explorer or the previous generation Microsoft Edge browser. Ahead of the final release a beta version is now available for testing. Please give it a try to see what’s changed, and if there are any problems we’ve missed. A final version should be out very soon. Please note that this pre-release version should not be used on critical systems. Just tested the 4.14.0 build 2310 client under macOS 12.1 here and it outputs the following crash log when connecting to one of my ThinLinc 4.13.0 servers. In addition, similar crashes happen sometimes when clicking the “options” button in the thinlinc client window. Please note that this is a MacBook Pro 16" 2021 M1 Max where the ThinLinc client is obviously started+used using Rosetta emulation. Perhaps that’s the reason for it. With the old 4.13.0 client I don’t see any of these crashes. Hi @j.maus, We can see a similar crash here when testing on a M1 mac mini, it doesn’t happen on a 1 year old intel mac mini. We’re getting a SIGSEGV, but not exactly the same error you are seeing. The error we can reproduce happens when you drag the session window to a different monitor. It’s still possible that we’re seeing different symptoms of the same problem, but you never know. Are there any special circumstances required for this to happen on your machine? What steps are required to reproduce the crash?
