# ThinLinc login failed.(Cannot allocate license)

When I try to link with the service, this error “**ThinLinc login failed.(Cannot allocate license)**” occurred! How can I fix it?

Hello @XJTUXYC

This error is shown when the license limit count has been reached.

Depending on which version of ThinLinc server you’re using, the limit is either 5 or 10 concurrent users.  
(Recent versions of ThinLinc comes with 10 concurrent users for free)

If you’re a commercial user with purchased licenses, please get in touch with Cendio Sales department and they’ll help you figure this out.
