I’m thrilled to announce that Cendio ThinLinc is an official sponsor and active participant at CARLA 2024, the premier High-Performance Computing (HPC) conference for Latin America, taking place in Santiago, Chile.
This event provides a unique platform to showcase the power and flexibility of ThinLinc in the HPC space, emphasizing our commitment to enhancing remote access to Linux desktops for HPC environments.
We’ll be hosting and presenting at several key sessions focused on ThinLinc’s role in driving HPC innovation:
Tuesday, 1 October: 18:00 - 19:30 - ThinLinc for Latin America
A boardroom-style meeting with Latin American leaders and technologists from SCALAC and RedClara, moderated by Nicolás Erdödy from Open Parallel.
We’re honored to welcome Professor Ewa Deelman, Research Director at the Information Sciences Institute, University of Southern California, who will explore collaborations between U.S. and Latin American research infrastructures.
Eugenio Guerra, Systems Engineer at Chile’s National Laboratory of High Performance Computing (NLHPC), will present a case study on ThinLinc at NLHPC, highlighting the transformative impact of our technology in HPC environments.
Additionally, Aaron Sowry, Global Technical Lead at Cendio ThinLinc, will discuss scalable free models for Latin American organizations.
Wednesday, 2 October: 11:00 - 11:20 - DevOps School for HPC
This session, hosted by Nicolás Erdödy, will feature Hugo R. Hernández, CEO of spinTwo LLC, presenting on how ThinLinc can be leveraged for complex computing environments.
Eugenio Guerra will also share insights from the NLHPC case study, providing real-world examples of ThinLinc’s capabilities.
Industry Snapshots - Sponsor Perspectives in HPC:
We’re also excited to be featured in the Industry Snapshots session, where we’ll provide valuable insights into how ThinLinc is transforming remote graphical access in HPC environments. This is a unique opportunity to learn about our contributions to the HPC landscape and our vision for the future of remote computing.
Beyond the formal presentations, we’ll also be available for casual meetings at the ThinLinc stand throughout the conference. It’s a fantastic opportunity to connect with peers, discuss the future of remote access in HPC, and explore how ThinLinc can support your organization’s needs.
We look forward to seeing you at CARLA 2024 and engaging with the HPC community!
