After trying to access my VPS several times, using ThinLinc, I kept getting the error message in the screenshot below.
I will be much obliged if someone can assist me with resolving this issue, which is reported (as may be seen in the screenshot above) to be a problem with the connection to the server timing out).

If you start the client with debugging enabled and check the resulting log file, this may give you some clues. See:

In general though, this seems like a network issue rather than anything to do with ThinLinc. You will need to make sure that the hostname you are using is resolvable and reachable from the client.
