Hello, I’m running into an issue. A friend of mine uses the Windows Shadow client. If I launch a Shadow session and my friend exits the client (either by closing it or shutting down their Windows session), I still have access to their session and can do absolutely anything. Is there a “view-only” mode available? Also, how can the Shadow session be terminated automatically if the Windows client application is closed but the session itself appears to remain active? I hope that makes sense.

In ThinLinc, “shadowing” a session gives you the same control as the user being shadowed. So what you’re seeing is expected behaviour. Once the user gives you access to shadow the session, you will have control over it until you disconnect. I’m afraid there is no “view-only” mode available at present. Hope that clarifies things!
