Hello ThinLinc community!
We are excited to share news about a recently published blog post that defines the very heart of Cendio and ThinLinc!
We encourage everyone in our community, to read the new entry: “Finding our voice: Cendio’s and ThinLinc’s core strengths”.
This blog post, details the intensive internal project we undertook to truly define why ThinLinc is a great product. Our goal was to define a set of Unique Selling Propositions (USPs) that would resonate with customers, users, and future partners alike. We wanted to move past typical buzzwords like “flexibility” and “reliability” and articulate the true value ThinLinc brings, such as saving time and reducing costs.
After deep discussion, we identified core principles that we truly believe in and that now define our identity.
Here are the key USPs defining Cendio and ThinLinc, which are detailed in the post:
• ThinLinc is “Linux First”: This is our foundation; we are the only company in the world 100% focused on Linux Remote Desktop. This dedication means we support all relevant Linux distributions throughout their entire lifecycle.
• 15 minutes installation: ThinLinc is designed to be incredibly straightforward, getting you up and running quickly through a smart installation program and clear documentation.
• ThinLinc is a Morakniv: We use this analogy because the Morakniv is a legendary Swedish knife known for its simplicity, reliability, and practical versatility—a perfect reflection of ThinLinc’s robust design philosophy.
• 300+ Years of Linux experience: As the world’s oldest Linux company, we bring centuries of collective Linux expertise to the table, resulting in a mature, polished, and robust enterprise solution.
• Kind personal connections: We are a small, dedicated, and engaged team. When you work with us, you have direct access to the people genuinely committed to your success.
• Made in Sweden: Our Swedish heritage guarantees a promise of quality, innovation, and well-engineered solutions. It also reflects our culture of openness and transparency.
This project was fundamental in positioning ourselves as the enterprise-grade company and product we truly are. These USPs are our promise to you and the principles that guide our development.
You can find the new post in the Blog. We look forward to building on these strengths together!
