I now have my Local Thinlinc Server iframed on a QB64 webserver program and other types of webservers

I have used Thinlinc on and off over the last 5 years.

I am just sharing what I’ve done recently.

Currently have the ThinLinc web client working in iframes with firefox not chrome.
I use it to monitor my CloudParty Media Server. #Nextcloud #Plex #Kodi.
I also use it to monitor my #Piholes.

See https://discourse.pi-hole.net/t/trying-to-have-a-local-web-page-with-iframes-so-i-can-monitor-all-my-piholes/61371

The Base web server I have written in QB64 and you can grab a copy of the code at https://github.com/smokingwheels/smokingwheels.github.io
Runs on Windows as well.

Thanks
I welcome any comments my English skills are very Basic so don’t mind any questions.

Very cool @smokingwheels, thanks for sharing!

QBASIC was my very first programming language, probably 30 years ago. Interesting to see that it is still alive and kicking in some form

A long time ago we had an employee here at Cendio who wrote a webserver in - believe it or not - PostScript. Apparently back then we didn’t have enough actual work to do. Anyway you can still find a copy of it here (ignore the expired SSL certificate):

I am starting an experiment with a RamDisk on my Nextcloud server on old hardware to improve file syncing speed/performance.

If tests performed are good. I will try installing ThinLinc as well.

I have not searched here yet on the subject but I will later on.
