Are there any plans to improve graphics tablet support usb redirection ? I’ve been testing a Huion tablet, but in the Linux VDA session it is currently presented only as a generic USB mouse/pointer, with no pressure sensitivity or access to the tablet’s native features. Ideally, we should have full USB redirection for Wacom and other vendor devices from Huion, 3Dconnexions (Spacemouse), preserving pressure, tilt, pen buttons and ExpressKeys so they can be configured natively in Linux using drivers such as xf86-input-wacom and xsetwacom, without proprietary manufacturer drivers. Is this something ThinLinc could support?
The vda session sees thee tablet as;
Device: QEMU 0.10.2 QEMU USB Tablet
Kernel: /dev/input/event3
Group: 3
Seat: seat0, default
Capabilities: pointer
Tap-to-click: n/a
Tap-and-drag: n/a
Tap drag lock: n/a
Left-handed: disabled
Nat.scrolling: disabled
Middle emulation: disabled
Calibration: identity matrix
Scroll methods: none
Click methods: none
Disable-w-typing: n/a
Accel profiles: n/a
Rotation: n/a
For reference, this is the type of native Linux/X11 configuration I’d like to use once the tablet’s full input capabilities are exposed to the session: Huion Linux setup guide
Note: I’m a complete novice using a digital gfx tablet and so far its day 3 trying to get to grips with the stylus and the tablet and its not all fun and games!
