Thinlinc client fails quickly after choosing profile

reading through Connection lasts less than 10 seconds
however I believe I have another issue … sever parts installed on Ubuntu 22.04 desktop. Client Ubuntu 22.04…

Client connection opens a window and sub window is at choosing a profile top main Window Welcome to ThinLinc … as soon as I hit OK the session exists: I am thinking its here

any help appreciated

** snippet I guess is the issue? **

This link referred me to check on the presence of left over upstart config files
[7468 – Sessions fail to start when upgrading from Ubuntu 16.04]
My machine also went thru upgrades and I also had these remnants … after removing the upstart files the connections completed and I am now enjoying Thinlinc as intended.
