Dear Community Members,
This (northern hemisphere) summer, we’ve decided to try something new. We’ll be giving stuff away, for free!
This is exclusively for our ThinLinc Community Forum members, so if you like getting free stuff, read below for more details. 
How do I win?
We’re not sure. 
Since this is out very first giveaway, we’ll be carefully selecting one member based on their participation throughout the year. Things which impress us:
- helping other community members
- giving/receiving likes
- interesting topic posts (use-case descriptions, tips and tricks, etc)
- compliments and flattery (feel free to comment below!)
We plan to have more concrete objectives in future editions, but for now the decision will be left in the hands of our illustrious panel of judges (@pss).
What do I get?
We’re not telling. 
What we can tell you is that it’s a bit more special than just stickers and a keyring. It’s also the last one left of a very limited number produced (our employees all took the rest).
Hint: there’s a picture of one on our website.
When will it happen?
This we can tell you. We’ll be making our decision on 2026-07-30T22:00:00Z, and announcing the winner shortly thereafter.
We won’t be contacting you directly if you win, however you will receive a public @-mention on this forum. So don’t forget to keep checking back!
Why are you doing this?
Two reasons:
- we want to give something back to our users and community members
- we want to encourage participation, and help the community thrive
We also hope this will be a bit of fun, both for us and the ThinLinc community. If we’re right, we plan to do more of this in the future. Thanks for your participation!
