Hello,
I’m a regular ThinLinc user on macOS, and it is an essential part of my daily usage as a remote Linux desktop.
Recently, macOS started showing a system warning that Intel-based applications relying on Rosetta 2 will not be supported in future macOS versions. The warning specifically appears when launching the ThinLinc client.
As far as I understand, Rosetta will still be supported in macOS 27, but may be removed in a later version.
My question is:
Are there any plans to release a native Apple Silicon (ARM) version of the ThinLinc client?
I use ThinLinc regularly for personal projects, and I really enjoy using it - it’s by far the best solution I’ve found for this purpose. It would be very difficult to replace if it stopped working on macOS.
Any information about future plans or roadmap would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your work!
