The Windows version of the ThinLinc client was not signed at time of the release, and users may have gotten a SmartScreen prompt to confirm that they want to install the client.
A signed Windows client can now be downloaded and installed either from https://www.cendio.com/thinlinc/download/ or directly from the Microsoft Store
